David E. Barber

David was a member of the class of 1967. He is remembered as one of the outstanding wrestlers from San

Lorenzo. A list of his activities include:

Wrestling - David was a wrestler all four years he was at San Lorenzo.

Photography Club - He was a member during his junior year.

David was a member of two San Lorenzo HS championship wrestling teams - those of 1965 and 1966.

David entered the Marine Corps and was assigned to the 1st Marine Division. He started his tour in Vietnam

on May 1, 1968. He was killed on June 8, 1968 - less than one year after graduation. He was only 18 years

old. His name can be found at Panel 59W Line 018 on the Vietnam Memorial Wall.
