James D. Burns
James was a member of the Class of 1965. James was took part in a number of activities at San Lorenzo:
Baseball - He played each of the four years he was at San Lorenzo.
Football - His freshman year.
Honor Roll - He was on the Honor Roll each year he was at San Lorenzo.
Block SL Club - He was a member his senior year.
James was drafted into the Army and started his tour in Vietnam with the 1st Infantry Division on November
10, 1968. He was killed in action on April 28, 1969. He was 21. His name appears on Panel 26W Line 052 of
the Vietnam Memorial Wall.
